Breaking News!

I haven't posted in a while but oh boy do I have some awesome news. Rob Thomas has announced that the Veronica Mars movie is official.

This is just really awesome news for any Veronica Fans. The end of season three was a bit dissapointing in my opinion because it left a lot open. TOO much open. I just hope that this movie is as satisfying as Serenity was for Firefly fans. Thank you Rob! Now if we could get Party Down to air on television everything in the Rob Thomas world would be wonderful.

First Rant.

Okay so today I will have my first rant via blogging. This is about television and how the best shows on television always end up cancelled. I am thankful for the few shows that make it (current favorites include Heroes and How I Met Your Mother), but these shows do not make up for the great shows that have been cancelled. The most recent blow would be Pushing Daisies. This is the third show that the great man Bryan Fuller has created and the third show by Bryan Fuller that was cancelled way too early. Now I am going to leave you with a list of AMAZING shows that were cancelled WAY too soon. Comment and let me know your favorite cancelled series I am always looking for new shows to check out.

1. Wonderfalls - One of Bryan Fullers other series that was cancelled by Fox after airing a measly 6 or so episodes and constantly switching the air dates so that people who wanted to watch couldn't figure out when it was on.

2. Dead Like Me - Another amazing piece by Bryan Fuller. Ever thought maybe Grim Reapers don't really walk around in big black cloaks carrying scythes well if you wanna see some interesting dead characters check this show out. (Showtime Series) P.S. - Coming soon is a direct to dvd movie that will give us a bit more closure on this great show.

3. Veronica Mars - Great show about a Snarky Girl Detective. I mean how can you go wrong there plus plenty of romance and drama.

4. Point Pleasant - The ending was one of the worst cliff hangers EVER! I love the show the characters were great and it really holds your interest.

5. Arrested Development - Another show luck enough to have talk of a follow up movie. Really funny shit on this show so check it out.

6. Firefly - A huge upset to any Whedon fan. It has a great movie to follow, Serenity, that was even relased on the big screen but we could have had so much more if it stayed on the air! (Damn Fox, damn you to hell!)

There are plenty more but I will leave you with these six for now and I am sure there will be more rants in the future just wait.

The First Entry

Hello, everyone in the Blog-verse, my name is Liz. I am a Film/Theater major in KC, MO and I am a total pop culture junkie. As some of the readers here may know me they may already know what my interests are but I will list them for any uninformed viewers. When I am not at play practice (always a techy not an actress), studying, filming something (whether it be randomness, or a school project), then I am probably hanging with some friends or watching televison. With my film major I want to work in television someday not so much the movie thing. I think television is an insanely more interesting field because there are so many more ways to devolp a plot or a character. Basically in my blogging I'll tell you a little bit about what I'm up to, what I see coming (movies, televison, music, etc.), and what I am watching. Hope to please my audience and first off gain one.

P.S. - Just in case you wanna know where my Blog title originates from I'll tell ya. There was this great show called Veronica Mars and on this show there was this great character named Logan. Logan spoke these words in the pilot episode. If you haven't watched this show check it out ASAP.
